Below are my top 10 recipes of 2013. If you’re a new reader, enjoy! If you’re a longtime follower, I hope you’re reminded of your favorites.
Strawberry Pretzel Parfaits. You loved these, I loved these. I eat it for breakfast, as a snack or for dessert. Since the creamy part is made with yogurt, I harbor no guilt.
Indoor S’mores. I think y’all love this because it’s so easy and always pleases. I love it because I’m pretty sure Heaven is full of toasted marshmallows and the angels spritz marshmallow-scented perfume in the air while we float on marshmallow clouds. Pretty sure.
Mason Jar Lid Pies: Spiced Peach. There’s no denying the cuteness of these babies. And if you stay tuned, I have another version of them for you coming soon…
1 Dozen Chocolate Chip Cookies. An oldie, but a goodie! Who couldn’t use a small batch of chocolate chip cookies on days the end in ‘y?’
Frosted Eggnog Cookies made with cake mix. I realize that everyone craves simple recipes around the holidays, so I started my Cake Mix series. In the series, I teach you how to use a cup or two of cake mix to make a small dessert. Other recipes in the cake mix chronicles include: Cranberry Vanilla Dream Cake, Chocolate Petit Fours, and Chocolate Peppermint Crunch Cupcakes.
Frozen Mocha Brownie Bites. You need these in your life. Trust me on this. I actually hid these in the freezer from my husband in a bag of frozen blueberries. I’m not proud, but this is what my marriage looks like. Seeking help.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake. This is simply my recipe for 1 dozen chocolate chip cookies pressed into a mini 6″ pie pan. The inside is gooey and soft. You’re welcome!
Sparkling Fig Sangria. This is a small batch of light red wine infused with spices and orange zest, and topped with a splash of pink bubbly. When figs aren’t in season, I soak dried figs in Cointreau for the same flavors.
Baked Chicken Fingers with Easy Blender Mac ‘n Cheese. I’m so proud to see my Dinner for Two recipes making the list! This recipe is comfort food at its finest. Once you make mac ‘n cheese in the blender, you’ll never go back to the stovetop method again!
Mini New York Cheesecakes. The brown sugar cream sauce is what makes these ‘New York’ style. The crust couldn’t be easier—just drop in a whole cookie.

P.S. This recipe didn’t make the top 10 list, but it was my favorite for the year. I thought it would be so difficult to scale down Profiteroles with Raspberry Sauce and Chocolate Sauce, but it was easy!
