- Ensure the butter is at the proper temperature listed for the recipe.
- If frosting is too runny, refrigerate a portion, and then beat it back together.
- If buttercream is grainy, this is usually because the butter is too cold or the powdered sugar wasn't sifted. Typically, beating for an extra few minutes will solve it.
