Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Dice butter and add it.

Use a pastry blender or your fingers to work the butter in until it resembles a coarse crumble. Stir in buttermilk.

Roll out dough to 1-inch thick. Cut out 3-4 biscuits.

Gather scraps, re-roll, and cut out a total of 6 biscuits. Bake at 450-degrees F for 9 minutes.
