Make the cinnamon dough. Cover and let it rise. Then, roll out the dough. Spread the filling on top. Roll up the dough, trim the ends, and then slice. Place the rolls in a pan and refrigerate overnight.
In the morning, let the rolls do a final rise at room temperature. Make the cream cheese frosting.
Bake the cinnamon rolls and frost them while still warm.
