Moist and tender chocolate muffins with pumpkin puree are a great fall breakfast treat.
Stir together the pumpkin, sugar, oil, egg and vanilla.
Sprinkle the flour, pumpkin pie spices, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt on top. Fold them into the mixture.
Stir in the chocolate chips and divide the mixture into the muffin cups.
Bake and let cool.
