Easter dessert ideas that are cute and fun to serve if you're entertaining a small group.
Spring is a little bit of a blur in my household with so many birthdays and holidays, but the one way I know the Easter bunny is on his way is the carrot cake! There's a carrot cake on my counter from March until May.
I've got a few opinions about carrot cake, as I'm sure you do, too, so I thought I would round up my favorite carrot cake recipes, plus some other fun Easter dessert ideas for you! Are you ready for all 10?
My top 10 Easter Dessert Ideas:
A SMALL CARROT CAKE
Not only does this cake grace my table as my husband's birthday cake, this small carrot cake recipe is my personal favorite, too! Instead of making a giant 3-layer carrot cake that takes hours and has 47 sticks of butter, make my small carrot cake recipe in a 8x8" brownie pan and enjoy!
CARROT CAKE CUPCAKES

These carrot cake cupcakes are another fun route for Easter dessert because they're loaded with carrot and coconut! I've heard from a few that have made it without coconut that it's still great! The recipe makes 6 cupcakes, and you will love them!
CARROT CAKE FOR TWO

If you've never had a warm carrot cake for two fresh from the oven with cream cheese frosting drizzled over the top, you have to try it! It's a revelation of sorts in the carrot cake world.
SUGAR FREE CARROT CAKE

If you're watching your sugar or like to bake with natural sweeteners, these mini naturally sweetened sugar free carrot cakes are for you! They're sweetened with apple juice concentrate and pineapple, and the honey cream cheese frosting can't be missed.
MINI COCONUT CREAM PIES

I can't think of anything better than hand-held mini coconut cream pies on my Easter table! A pie that can fit in my hand and be devoured in just two bites is ideal!
SMALL CHEESECAKE RECIPE

Cheesecake is always welcome on the Easter table, and this small cheesecake recipe made in a bread loaf pan makes 5 pieces of cheesecake. If strawberries feel more festive on top, swap them for the cherries! Or anything else you like on your cheesecake (lemon curd sounds amazing to me).
STRAWBERRY PRETZEL SALAD PARFAITS

It's not actually Springtime in the South unless strawberry pretzel salad is on the menu. My version of Strawberry Pretzel Salad turns it into a parfait with brown sugar sweetened yogurt layers, crushed pretzels, and juicy strawberries!
STRAWBERRY MOUSSE

If you've never taken Spring's best fruit and turned it into a mousse, this is your year! This strawberry mousse is made in the blender, and you'll be addicted to the cool creaminess of this Easter dessert.
LEMON BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE

Did I just say that strawberries were the season's best fruit? Well, that was a misstep because when blueberries hit the shelves in April, we're in a full-on committed relationship. This lemon blueberry cheesecake is a celebration of our love.
MINI LEMON CAKES

These mini lemon cakes cut from a single-layer lemon cake and topped with a creamy coconut frosting are so easy to put together.
I hope these Easter dessert ideas help you pull together an extra special spread for your Easter celebration this year! Happy Spring!
I only wish I had enough time to make a mini bunny butt cake this year! Oh, maybe next year!

I love carrot ideas for Easter! Don't know why but any carrot recipe seems to go so well with Easter Meals! The cream cheese sauce looks amazing, not to use on these carrot cakes, but with some chocolate themed dessert too. Sounds great! (this is me, chocolate oriented at the moment... as you can see)
Also, loving the sugar free option. I try to stay away from sugars as much as possible and try to use any natural sweetener I can come up with , specially for the little one in the house, and it's incredible the results you get as well.
Can't wait to start Easter cooking and can't wait to start Spring cooking too! I love it when season changes... and meals start looking different from previous months. I don't mind wheter it's from summer to Fall, Fall to winter or Winter to Spring, I just get excited about the new possibilities with the seasonal products :-)
Have a great day!
