Sangria easy recipe made right in the glass. For each glass of easy sangria you wish to make, just muddle fruit, add liquor and wine, and top with club soda.
I feel like I'm the queen of lazy cocktails. You can constantly find me using jam instead of simple syrup for a quick-fix cocktail.
Let's back up before the lip-stick smudged glass, wine ring stains on my counter, and spent citrus segments all happened. This drink was born from my laziest habit: the last pours of wine in the bottle. I no longer finish a bottle in one night (hallelujah!), but often, I forget to properly seal my wine. So, instead of pouring this crimson gold down the sink, I make it a little fruity. This sangria-tization method is so super fast and simple that it will make you want to turn every glass of wine into sangria! Wait, should I patent 'sangriatization?'
Sangria Ingredients:
First, add fresh raspberries to the bottom of a wine glass. Use something to muddle and smash them a bit.
Next, add ½ of a shot of orange liquor, which is about ¾ ounces.
Then, add 4 ounces of red wine to the glass.
Last, add club soda and a huge ice cube. You can garnish with extra fresh fruit if you wish, but it's perfect just the way it is.
I'm a big fan of these giant ice cubes, because they melt slowly and don't dilute your drinks. Here's the exact giant ice cube trays I use.
Sangria Easy Recipe
If I make a pitcher of sangria, I will surely drink the entire pitcher, ergo I'm in love with this single-serving, lazy gal sangria. My drink recipes usually serve two, but I have a hard time getting my dude to drink sangria. I can't figure out why. It's fresh fruit + booze + wine. How is this considered unacceptable for men? Any how, more for us girls.
Go on, sangriatize the world! And yes, you can certainly use white wine, too. Can I suggest peaches with white wine? Oh, I think I feel another round of sangriatization coming on! Speaking of peaches and wine, have you seen my Peach Wine Slushies?
Sangria Recipe for a Party:
This sangria easy recipe is perfect for a night on the couch binge watching your favorite show.
If you're having friends over, I have plan for you! First, make sure every person has a glass. Then, I would have out three different types of wine: a dry sparkling wine (dry means not sweet), a fruity red wine, and a dry white white. Have plenty of fresh fruit in bowls, things like fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, orange slices, lemon and lime slices. If it's grapefruit season, I highly recommend the combination of grapefruit and strawberries in a glass of bubbly sangria.
Place plenty of bottles of club soda, and flavored ones are okay, too! For the flavored club soda, stick to lemon or lime. The beautiful thing about this recipe is that the orange liquor goes with any type of wine! If you want to get fancy, raspberry liquor (also called Framboise) is great in these sangria easy recipe, too!
A few fun fruity combinations I love:
- Champagne + grapefruit slices and strawberries.
- Red wine + blackberries and lime slices. Lime club soda is great here, too.
- White wine + orange slices and blueberries.
To use up the rest of the orange liquor, try my Linzer Cookie Recipe, or my Sangria Sorbet.
If you use the Framboise, save my Raspberry White Hot Cocoa recipe for winter!

Just brilliant! I love sangria but unless I have a lot of friends to share it with, I don't make it. Now I can enjoy a glass whenever I want (or almost)

You are a lazy girl cocktail genius. Jam, mashed berries, what's next? I want the peach version all up in my face already, but I guess I have to wait for peaches to be in season. Boo.
